Many organizations such as government
departments, universities, schools, banking and insurance companies are always
seeking an accurate cost accounting, high security, accessibility and affordable
solution SafeQ is the ideal solution for them suitable for small to mid
sized offices as well as large and distributed enterprise environments.
SafeQ is a web-based accounting system which
offers accounting and access control on multi-functional peripherals (MFPs),
designed to reduce total costs of ownership of MFPs, enrich security of print
workflow and increase productivity of all local and network output devices,
including bizhub and third party devices.
|
Accurate Accounting SafeQ enables the accounting of the exact number of actually printed, copied, scanned pages. It supports print accounting on network MFPs and printers, print volume monitoring on local printers and the accounting of MFPs. With every output, it records the type (e.g. b/w or color), duplex print, paper size (A4 / A3). The output is accounted to users, departments, devices and / or projects.
Utmost secure printing and high flexibility with
Follow Me printing. This function allows users to actually print out their
documents only upon authentication with SafeQ terminal. And more, your documents
will be available at any compatible MFP / printer in the system since they are
safely stored on a secure server. |

Online / Offline Accounting
SafeQ
supports both online and offline accounting. When using online accounting, the
server communicates with MFPs during print and determines the exact number of
pages that have been actually
outputted. With jobs cancelled by the user or jobs cannot been printed
completely (e.g. due to paper jam), SafeQ accounts only the pages that actually
printed. This is something that no other product on the market is able to do.
When using offline accounting, a job is accounted immediately upon its delivery
to the MFPs depending on the number of pages this job contains.
